Water freezes at 32 degrees. This may seem obvious, however, every year it seems we have people with frozen and cracked engines and they all say "but it didn't get that cold." Your engine can be damaged the first time it freezes and it doesn't have to get colder then 32.

Congratulations Brian Hammond for winning the 2008 Northeast Walleye Circuit in his MirroCraft Aggressor EXP with a 200 HO Evinrude E-Tec, sponsored by Boat Works, Ltd.
Brian Hammond of Cicero shows a 23-inch, 4 lb. walleye that claimed the big fish award from a walleye fishing competition he won Aug. 3 on Oneida Lake.
Hammond wrote: "It's the new eastern walleye circuit. The winning weight was 13.27 pounds. There were 19 teams at Oneida Shores park. Most trolled and we fished in 10 to 13 feet of water with a spinner and worm. My partner, jeff schmidt, and I caught 16 fish and I had five fish that weighed over 13 pounds.
"First place earned $1,200 and big fish paid $285. It put me in first place for the circuit in the northeast for 2008."

Boat Works Ltd. first opened for business in 1976 as a small nautical gift shop. As time went on the focus of business slowly switched from gifts to parts and accessories. Boat Works has grown into the largest ships store in Central New York and we still have a unique nautical gift section.
